Great game and glad they didnt change anything. Same game play as the original. The game crashes sometimes though.

Hey square, I have been a final fantasy fan since my dad has let me play the original ff 1 nes ever ago. I just spent my birthday money on this and it wont even load:( please fix. I have already bought five other square games for over one hundred bucks so Im a definitely a final fantasy fan, but I havent played this yet.

I still cannot play it. It crashes a few seconds after opening. Please fix!

Just spent nearly $30 on a broken game. The analog stick on the wireless controller works but thats it. None of the buttons work. Cant play a game that doesnt work. And no, I wont be using a touch screen to play FFIX. Very disappointed in Square Enix releasing an unfinished game. UPDATE: The first update has come out and still no MFI controller support. Shame on SquareEnix for releasing an unfinished game. Ive been robbed. DO NOT BUY.

Loved this game in original, purchased to replay on iPad. Battle scenes are very slow and choppy on iPad 5, makes very frustrating to play. Am I missing something in my settings, all rest of game works great?

Final Fantasy IX was my first ever FF back in 2000, and I was in love with it. This app is a great remaster; smoothed out the edges in the dated graphics, added other additional features and skippable cutscenes. Overall this feels great on a mobile phone, I have a 6, so the screen is perfectly sized for this. However the problems I have with this are the incredibly sparse encounter rates, even on 2x speed, making leveling up a bit more of a chore since encounters happen far less in certain areas, and the price tag. I bought this when it came out so I got it for less during the discount, but $28 for this? You can get it for less than half on the PS3 and Vita, so the price is incredibly steep for a remaster on your phone. However these issues can be handled through updates and price adjustments, so its at least fixable. This is still a great game and worth your time to play whether youre a veteran fan or are new to Final Fantasy.

Runs perfect on my iphone 6 havent crashed on me, or at least not yet and really good video and sound quality. GL getting the Excalibur II in here tho.

Classic FF9 the way you remember and love it! Runs great on my 5s and iPad2. Amazing job hiding the controls and having touch support! Just missing universal support for tvOS! HD Backgrounds would be nice, but theirs charm with the original Matts.

Issue need to be fix -add mfi controller support Exemple: mad cartz c.trl.i

Made it to the intro video of a new game one time and now have not been able to get passed the title screen since. Still has a bug that kicks you from the game, this needs to be fixed. With the price, quality should be expected.

Love the game, and works great. Cant get the cloud data feature to work on iPhone though. Would be great to be able to switch between iPhone and iPad!

Just beat it after about 40hrs on an iPhone 6. Played great. Only 2 crashes the e tire time and auto-saves are awesome. Highly satisfied.

I love this!! Everything was looking great and running smooth until the battle sequences started. Its frustratingly slow and choppy. Very unsatisfying. Please fix, this is unplayable for me.

An amazing port of a great game. After the crappy controls and performance of the FF7 port I didnt have much hope for the PS1 FF games but this versions of FF9 is extremely well done. In particular, character models have high resolution now, and the auto save feature seems to work seamlessly whenever you move between rooms. Highly recommended.

Awesome game. Very great remake. But the game bug often while im on the world map or when there are long animation such as summoning. Can anybody fix this ? I had to steal again almost every last bosses and i fear i cant watch the ending with this "app reset bug". Thanks !!

My favourite FF growing up, redone and better than ever

I played this as a kid on my playstation and was awesome to be able to do it again years later on my phone. Seriously the same as before, great time:) so glad they made this available for iPhones:) good times
