Great remaster, steep price

Final Fantasy IX was my first ever FF back in 2000, and I was in love with it. This app is a great remaster; smoothed out the edges in the dated graphics, added other additional features and skippable cutscenes. Overall this feels great on a mobile phone, I have a 6, so the screen is perfectly sized for this. However the problems I have with this are the incredibly sparse encounter rates, even on 2x speed, making leveling up a bit more of a chore since encounters happen far less in certain areas, and the price tag. I bought this when it came out so I got it for less during the discount, but $28 for this? You can get it for less than half on the PS3 and Vita, so the price is incredibly steep for a remaster on your phone. However these issues can be handled through updates and price adjustments, so its at least fixable. This is still a great game and worth your time to play whether youre a veteran fan or are new to Final Fantasy.
