Still cant use cloud save

I love the final fantasy games from the ps and ps2 era. I would give the game full stars except that I just recently purchased a new iPhone and iPad mini and cannot use the cloud save function for some reason. According to the patch notes this was fixed in May and I purchased the game in June and its not functional. I cannot find any support or information in the game manual to say Im doing anything wrong so I am assuming the issue is not fully resolved. New iPhone 6s, 6s plus, and iPad mini 2 running newest iOS cannot use cloud save.
